Germany's tourism draws from several distinct regions. Bavaria, in the south, holds Neuschwanstein Castle — the 19th-century royal residence that inspired Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle — along with the Black Forest's dense woodland and spa towns, and the Romantic Road, a route linking medieval walled towns including Rothenburg ob der Tauber, largely preserved since the Middle Ages. The Rhine Valley, further north, pairs vineyard-covered hillsides with castles and the Loreley rock. Berlin, the capital, carries a different character entirely — 20th-century history concentrated around the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall remnants, and a museum landscape shaped by the city's Cold War division. Clients most often build a Bavaria-and-Romantic-Road trip, adding Berlin as a separate city-break extension.
